The NYS Excelsior Scholarship Application is Live! All students applying to a SUNY or a CUNY institution whose families make $125,000 or less a year are guaranteed the Excelsior Scholarship upon application. Families must complete the FAFSA and TAP applications before being able to apply. Please find links to all three applications below:

• FAFSA- Free Application for Federal Student Aid 
• TAP- Tuition Assistance Program (for students attending a NYS institution)
