The Board of Education is the official policy-making body of our school district. Board elections take place in May along with the annual school budget vote.
The Board is responsible for ensuring the quality of education in the district. As elected officials, they represent the public in:
Board Meetings
The Board of Education meets on the second Wednesday of the month for Regular Board meetings and the fourth Wednesday of the month for Special Board meetings as noted in the annual school calendar. The meetings are held in the District Auditourm and begin at 6:30 p.m. The Board welcomes and encourages the public to attend these meetings.
Budget Board MeetingsStarting September 2024, the Board of Education will be holding an additional meeting on the 4th Wednesday of every month to have discussions around the 2025-2026 upcoming budget and developing a plan to address changes to the State Foundation Aid Formula. The Board of Education encourages the public to attend these meetings and to provide feedback on any potential changes or impacts to the education programming at Germantown CSD.

The Board believes that complaints are handled best when resolved as close to their origins as possible. School personnel should be given every opportunity to consider the issues and resolve the problem. Therefore, please follow the proper channeling of complaints as listed below:
