Congratulations to all of our junior and senior high musicians on a fantastic spring concert on Thursday, June 7! The Jr High Band, Sr High Band, Jr High Chorus, and Sr High Chorus all performed.

The Germantown Sports Banquet was on Tuesday, June 4th in the Germantown Auditorium. The Girls JV Basketball, Boys JV Basketball, Boys Varsity Basketball, Cheer, Varsity Baseball, and Varsity Softball teams were honored at the ceremony. Each coach spoke about their team and all of their accomplishments during the season. Thank you to the booster club for providing dinner and thank you to the family and friends that came out to support our student athletes. Here are some of the award winners.

• Mason Ferrer- Clipper of the Year, Patroon Conference Male Athlete of the Year, Varsity Basketball Most Valuable Player, Varsity Baseball Most Valuable Player.
• Adele Heuer- Patroon Conference Female Athlete of the Year, Varsity Softball Most Valuable Player
• Shawn Lyons- GCS Sportsmanship Award, Varsity Basketball Coaches’ Award, Varsity Baseball Offensive Player of the Year.
• Evan Hoffman- GCS Coaches’ Award
• Shea Mudge- Richard Mossman Memorial Award, Varsity Softball Coaches’ Award
• Aidan Shumway- Athletic Director’s Award, Varsity Baseball Defensive Player of the Year

The senior high chorus and junior high band earned a gold medal, and the senior high band and junior high chorus earned a silver medal! Congrats to our students for all of their hard work, dedication, and professionalism!

The students also enjoyed a trip to Six Flags New England, and they were very excited to celebrate their scores. Many of them also made matching tie-dye shirts!

Tomorrow, 6/4/2024 the Algebra 1 Regents Test is taking place. Students in grades 9-12 who are not taking the test do not have to attend school. Students in grades 7-8 will be attending school as normal. There will be a bus at noon for the students taking the regents.

Dear families, Please see the attachment for the Regents Exam Schedule. On June 4th, students in grades 7-8 and those taking the Algebra exam will attend. On June 14th, only those students taking the listed Regents exams will attend school.

Student Adele Heuer just earned her Private Pilots license through the Questar III Aviation program.  Congratulations Adele!!!
