American Chemical Society Scholars Program $5,000 – 350 Awards (Deadline: March 1, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be a graduating high school senior or college freshman, sophomore or junior.

AMVETS National Scholarships $4,000 – 9 Awards Deadline: April 30, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

  • Be a deserving high school senior or high school JROTC student
  • Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in Fall 2021

Beyond the Boroughs National Scholarship $20,000 – 2 Awards (Deadline: March 15, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be a high school senior accepted to an accredited four-year college, university or equivalent and be from a low-income household.

Bill Shrader, Sr. Memorial Scholarship

 

BMW Engineering Scholarship $6,000 – 1 Award (Deadline: March 15, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must rank in the 90th percentile in both math and critical reading on SAT I or composite ACT scores and pursue an engineering or related science degree through an ABET accredited program.

CAPCOM Scholarships

 

 

CDCA Scholarships

The CDCA is pleased to offer three (3) $1,000 scholarships for Capital Region students. These scholarships are made available to local students who are enrolling at a Capital Region undergraduate institution.

Applicants must be from the Capital Region and plan to attend a Capital Region college. The Capital Region includes the counties of Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Schenectady, and the southern part of Saratoga.

Available Scholarships:

  • One scholarship for a local first-year student enrolling at a Capital Region Two-Year college for the fall of 2021.
  • One scholarship for a local first-year student enrolling at a Capital Region Four-Year college for the fall of 2021.
  • One scholarship for a local two-year college student transferring to a Capital Region four-year college for the Fall of 2021.

Deadline: May 1, 2021

Completed application forms and all additional material must be mailed in ONE COMPLETE PACKAGE and postmarked no later than May 1, 2021. E-mail submissions will also be accepted this year.

Daughters of American Agriculture Scholarship $1,000 – 2 Awards (Deadline: March 1, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be a woman planning on studying agriculture leadership, communications, rural sociology, medicine, or any other courses directly related to agriculture.

Davidson Fellows Scholarships $50,000 – 20 Awards (Deadline: February 10, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be 18 years of age or younger as of the application deadline and have completed a significant piece of work in one of the submission categories.

Excelsior Scholarships

To apply, students must meet the below eligibility requirements:
 
  • Be residents of New York State
  • Plan to attend a SUNY or CUNY two or four-year college
  • Complete 30 credits per year towards their program of study
  • Be on track to graduate on time with an Associate’s Degree in two years or a Bachelor’s Degree in four years

ExploraVision Student Awards $10,000 – 40 Awards (Deadline: February 8, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be a United States citizen or legal resident, live within the United States or a U.S. Territory, be enrolled full time in a public, private or home school and must be no older than 21 years of age.

Farm Credit East Scholarship

 

Fortuna Scholarship $1,000 – 1 Award (Deadline: April 30, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

  • Be at least 13 years old and enrolled or will enroll in a college or university in the US.
  • Be a legal resident of the US or Puerto Rico

Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania currently has an additional $3,000 Cyber Award available to any student who applies to the BS Cybersecurity or BS Cyber Engineering programs for Fall 2021 entry.

In addition to the merit scholarship every student is awarded, this brings the total scholarship for each student to minimum $18,000-23,000 per year.

Gordon A. Rich Memorial Scholarship $50,000 – 7 Awards (Deadline: February 16, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be a graduating high school senior who plans to enroll as a full-time, first-year student in pursuit of a four-year bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university in the United States and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) and rank in the top 20% of their class.

Robert Dauley Memorial Scholarship

The Robert Dauley Memorial Scholarship has been established to remember those that have gone too soon. Robert, father of 2021 graduating senior Brittani Dauley, passed away in 2020 following a battle with cancer. His passing left a mark on his daughter and many others lives that deserves a special way of remembrance. This scholarship is intended to be dispersed to a graduating senior each year that has struggled due to the loss of a loved one. Not only will this scholarship support those students during a difficult time in their lives, it will allow for Robert’s memory to live on.

 

Scholarship for Journalism Diversity $8,500 – 1 Award (Deadline: March 1, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be a high school senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who is preparing to enter college and intends to become a journalist who will bring diversity to U.S. journalism.
